Grain Elevators
Out ‘here’ grain elevators are all over the place. Some small and some large as a previous post showed. You would think that if you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all. Not so much so I present some that I have found ‘photogenic’
Welcome Home!
On my way into Colorado. This was on Highway 96 taking me to Eads, CO. This version on I 70 the big interstate is usually crowded with people wanting their picture taken in front of the sign. Here I had it all to myself.

Throw Back Gas Station
But I don’t think you can actually get gas here. Maybe it was just closed because it was a Sunday. If so then it’s still a throw back to the days when everything was closed on Sunday. Scott City, KS
St. Mary Cemetery
Just out in the middle of nowhere. Off in the distance are the wind turbines and that’s it! Yet it was inviting which is why I made a special trip to look at it. It’s on KS 96 near Leoti, KS
The Front Yard
Friends of ours live on a ranch in Eastern Colorado. This is their front view. Recently someone put a heard of Buffalo out there – can’t imagine a nicer addition to your front yard!

This is one of the larger ones – It’s in Syracuse, Kansas. Having spent 19 years in Syracuse, NY I was curious about the names.
