Japanese Internment WWII

During WW2 there were many internment sites.  Most people would be surprised to hear that one of them was located in south eastern Colorado.  Just outside of Granada, Colorado.  The ‘authorities’ were primarily concerned with Japanese Americans near the west coast of the US but that didn’t stop them from interning thousands of  JA inland.  While they eventually had their own town , with schools, sporting fields, farming, etc it was nothing compared to their own lives before internment.
